This data protection statement regulates the collection and processing of personal data. Personal
data
means all information about persons or factual circumstances of an identified or identifiable natural
person.
The objects of the company's business are trade in goods of all kinds, in particular in
geosynthetic products. For the purpose of rendering our services in compliance
with the
contract we use data provided by you. Generally, this data includes the following personal data:

- VAT ID number
- phone number
2. Retention of data
We will store your data during the time an order is processed and for the statutory retention period
and/or for as long as is necessary to defend any liability claims that may arise.

Your personal data is protected through appropriate technical and organisational measures. Those
measures include but are not limited to protection against unauthorised, unlawful or accidental
access, processing, loss, use
and/or manipulation of your data. Irrespective of our efforts to maintain reasonably high standards of
due
diligence at all times it cannot be excluded that information which you have provided to us via the
internet will be
inspected and used by other persons. We, therefore, assume no liability whatsoever for disclosure of
information due to
errors in data transfers that were not caused by us and/or unauthorised access by third parties (e.g.
through a hacker
attack on an email account or (mobile) phone, interception of fax messages).
4. Legal bases for processing
The legal basis for processing your personal data arises from a contract (order), your visit to our
trade fair stand, during which you give us your personal data so that we may contact you, your visit
to our website via
the contact form and/or otherwise is in our legitimate interest as defined in the GDPR, which consists
in achieving the
purposes stated above.
5. Our website
In principle, you may visit our website without providing any personal data.
5.1 Web analysis
Our website uses features of Matomo, an open source web analysis software
programme which
runs on a webserver of our host, Eurofit IT GmbH. It uses cookies which allow an analysis of how users
use the website. Information created in this way will be transmitted to the host’s server and stored
there.
You may prevent this by adjusting your browser settings in such a way that no cookies will be stored
or
by setting an opt-out cookie.
You have the possibility to prevent actions undertaken here by you from being analysed and linked.
This
will protect your privacy but will also prevent the owner from learning from your actions and
improving operability
for you and other users.
Your IP address will be recorded and pseudonymised immediately by deleting the last 8 bits. Thus, the
address can be localised only roughly.
Data will be processed on the basis of the statutory provisions of Section 96 (3) of the Austrian
Telecommunications Act [TKG] and Art. 6 (1) (a) (consent) and/or (f) (legitimate interest) of
the GDPR.
The purpose of data processing and our legitimate interest for the purposes of the GDPR is to enhance
our offer and our internet presence. As the privacy of our users is important to us, user data will be
pseudonymised.
User data will be stored for a period of 180 days.
5.2 Server log files
In order to optimise our website in terms of system performance, user-friendliness and provision of
useful information about our services, the website provider automatically collects and stores
information in
server log files, which your browser automatically trasmits to us. That is your IP address, browser
and language
settings, operating system, referrer URL, your internet service provider and the date and time. This
data will not
be combined with personal data sources. We reserve the right to check this data at a later date if we
become aware
of specific indications of unlawful use.

This website links to our page on Facebook. By clicking on that link you will leave this website and
establish a direct connection between your browser and the Facebook servers.
